Litigation Experience:

Chuck Saacke is Of Counsel at Collinson I Greco.

After receiving his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army and prior to being admitted to practice law in California, Mr. Saacke worked in engineering related fields with Ingersoll-Rand Company and Otis Elevator Company while working in the aerospace, military, and industrial fields. After completion of law school, Chuck joined Bob McNulty and shortly thereafter became an associate and then a partner in the law firm of Ramsey & McNulty. In 1987, he was a founding partner and eventually managing partner with McNulty & Saacke until Mr. McNulty’s retirement when it was renamed The Saacke Law Group.

Through involvement with target defendants, Mr. Saacke had spearheaded the development of an early suspicious claim specialty. He has handled hundreds of claims and numerous trials in this area, as well as assisting in the development of an early database to assist in screening questionable claims, a process that is now handled nationally by numerous organizations.

Mr. Saacke’s specific areas of specialty are in products liability, premises liability, general tort litigation and insurance coverage in the trucking industry where he worked with the legislature in formulating a revised insurance statute to reflect changes in the industry.  He is an experienced mediator having received his initial training through Pepperdine University, and he devotes a good portion of his practice to this specialty.

Education:

Chuck received his undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Whittier College of Law in 1978 and was admitted to the Bar that year. He has been a member of the South Bay, County, and State Bar Associations, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, and the Southern California Mediation Association.

Memberships:

Mr. Saacke is admitted to practice in all of the California state courts and United States District Court for the Central District. He is recognized by his peers in Super Lawyers and has tried cases throughout Southern California for over 40 years.  He is also an active member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
