Litigation Experience and Results

Lora is a senior attorney with the Las Vegas office of Collinson, Daehnke, Inlow & Greco. Lora’s practice is diverse. She manages cases defending healthcare providers in professional negligence actions and healthcare law. She also represents clients in administrative proceedings, including proceedings before the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners and the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. In addition, Lora defends insureds in general liability cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, products liability and other complex cases. Lora defends employers in worker’s compensation claims at the administrative level and on appeal.

Prior to joining Collinson, Daehnke, Inlow & Greco, Lora prosecuted for the City of Las Vegas handling misdemeanor criminal cases, such as battery domestic violence, driving under the influence, animal cruelty and vehicular manslaughter. She tried a significant number of cases and had a high conviction rate. Since October 2011, Lora has been a judge pro tempore for Henderson Municipal Court. In addition, Lora has practiced at insurance defense firms handling complex, medical malpractice, dental malpractice, general liability, construction defect and workers’ compensation cases. During Lora’s legal career, she had a published opinion in the case of Zurich American Insurance Company v. Intermodal Maintenance Services, Inc., which involved a choice of law issue between Nevada and Nebraska.

Education and Background

Lora obtained her juris doctor from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. During law school, Lora instituted and became President of the International Law Society. During her first year of law school, Lora orchestrated and managed the regional Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition and then competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition during her second year of law school. Lora is admitted to the State Bar of Nevada, where she practices before all Nevada state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
