Jim has experience in all manner of personal injury litigation, representing commercial property owners, residential property owners, owners of commercial and fleet vehicles, and individual vehicle owners as well. He has successfully litigated products liability claims, medical malpractice claims, and government tort claims. He also has experience with toxic tort and habitability issues.
Jim is a former co-attorney of record for CIGNA in New York City, and also served as the General Liability Supervising Attorney at AIG Staff Counsel for Southern California. He has successfully tried cases to verdict in New York and California.
As a partner at Collinson, Daehnke, Inlow & Greco, Jim’s practice areas include personal injury, insurance defense, toxic tort and habitability defense, products liability defense, automobile accident defense and UIM claims, and commercial and retail liability defense.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and Indiana University School of Law, he started the practice of law in New York City in 1985, and tried his first case that same year representing Otis Elevator to a defense verdict. Jim was admitted to practice law in California in 2006.
Jim also serves as an advocate for children with special needs. He represents children with special needs, including autism and other disabilities, and their families in administrative proceedings, to ensure that each child obtains the necessary individualized services at both home and school. Many of these services, mandated by State and Federal government, can help each child realize its full potential.
Jim is a member of both the California and New York State Bar Associations and is also admitted to the Federal District Courts in California and New York.
